It is with an immense pleasure that CHANNELNEWS has interviewed Mr Frankie Horne who is the proud tournament ambassador and South African Union Player. He is actually in Mauritius for the 7th Annual Rugby Tournament. The qualifications of the Rugby tournament started today and the final of this game will be held tomorrow, Sunday 29th September. Frankie Horne is the proud tournament ambassador who is a South African Union Player. He played for South Africa Sevens team in 2016 and contracted for the 2017.-08 IRB Seven World Series. Vision Sports aims at promoting and creating awareness about sports on the island of Mauritius.
This event is in collaboration with Rugby Union of Mauritius and the partners Flight Centre, Air Mauritius, SPARC, SPUR and NRI. This 7th edition of the Mauritius 7’s Tournament will be participated by South African U19 and U14 teams namely, Warriors, Marlins, Margate, Reddam, Impala, Outeniqua and Penryn. This exciting event will also have three Mauritian U14 and U19 club teams participating against each other including the Mauritius 7’s Women Senior touch and full contact teams.
